This program will provide zero interest, forgivable loans for energy audits and energy efficiency upgrades. FHC will work with homeowners to coordinate the energy audit, needed upgrades, and final inspections.

Audits will be conducted by Commonwealth Sustainability Works and include a walk through to identify energy and water saving opportunities. FHC will provide homeowners with zero interest loans that cover the cost of the audit in addition to the cost to make the energy and water conservation upgrades identified in the audit. Monthly repayments will be structured around an applicant's ability to repay and the energy savings generated by the upgrades.
